Larkin Aviation was established by Harry Larkin in the early 1980s and grew steadily in both size and reputation. Initially working in civil construction projects, Harry built up a network of friends and associates, and diversified Larkin Aviation’s portfolio.
Successful throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, economic conditions began to worsen in mid-2008. The business struggled to meet the increasing loan repayments, with less and less civil contracts becoming available.
When Harry passed away in 2013, his sons, Joseph and Tom, inherited control of the business, with Tom eventually taking on the role of the its primary helicopter pilot. The brothers strive together to keep Larkin Aviation afloat, hinndered by difficult economic conditions.
